The Champagne Haton story began in 1610 under the reign of Louis XIII, when François Haton acquired the first parcels in Damery. In 1928, Octave Haton brought a new impetus to the family business when he began vinifying his own champagnes. The Haton family has always been proud of its roots in Champagne, and can trace its history back almost four centuries. Along with that pride of the past, it is also firmly focused on the future.Haton now cultivates 60 hectares of vineyards (including 45 hectares of its own), dotted around Damery, the historic village where the family is still based. Jean-Noël and Sébastien have also built strong partnerships with other Champagne winegrowers, to produce a wider range of wines for their cuvées.

Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians cousins, Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn.
Since then, the firm has built up an outstanding reputation for its old cask-aged Ports, in particular its ‘Colheitas’ or single harvest tawnies, where it holds reserves of rare wines from the 19th century. Krohn is also noted for its finely-constituted Vintage Ports sourced from its flagship Douro property, Quinta do Retiro Novo, in the Rio Torto Valley.

Founded in 1820, Movia winery in Slovenia’s Brda region gained international recognition after World War II, with its wines favourd by Marshal Tito of former Yogoslavia. Situated in the village of Ceglo near the Italian border, Movia played a key role in bringing Slovenia to global attention in the late 1900s as interest in Eastern European wines surged. Today, the estate is led by Aleš Kristančič, a charismatic and innovative winemaker known for his deep commitment to organic and biodynamic farming. He cultivates varieties such as Rebula, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Pinot Noir, all produced without herbicides, pesticides, or fungicides, reflecting Movia’s focus on natural, expressive wines.
